Leading Agronomist Associated with the Program

Our program collaborates with leading agronomists to ensure that farmers receive the most accurate and up-to-date agricultural advice. These experts bring their extensive knowledge and experience to help guide and support the farming community.

Shri Narendra Tambe JI

A distinguished agronomist with 48 years of rich experience in agriculture. His significant contributions to the Indo-British Fertilizer Education Project and his visits to the University of Reading in London, first in 1984 for one and a half months and again in 1992 for three months, have greatly enhanced his expertise and knowledge.

With a deep commitment to promoting organic and natural farming, Tambe has dedicated his career to providing pollution-free and chemical-free food. He offers tips-based and moment-based training to both staff and farmers across various departments of agriculture and horticulture, as well as numerous NGOs.

Proficient in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, Malawi, Nimadi, Marathi, Chhattisgarhi, and many tribal languages, he effectively communicates with diverse communities. His involvement in Kisan Melas and organic expos, where he addresses over 1000 farmers, showcases his influence and dedication to farmer education.

Additionally, He provides training for input dealers in fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides, sponsored by the Department of Agriculture, equipping them with the necessary knowledge to enhance agricultural practices. His expertise and commitment make him a valuable resource in the field of sustainable agriculture.
